You may find nuisance visitors accessing and registering on your site. There are various ways to deter or block these, from plugins on your website to server-level solutions. The latter is not available to shared hosting customers, so in this case, we will describe how to ban an IP address using cPanel.
- Log into your cPanel - video guides available
- Scroll down to the Security section and click IP Blocker
- Enter the IP address or range of IP addresses you wish to block, following the guidance presented on the page.
- Click Add.
