Hit Next:

  • SMTP Server: [the server given (e.g. mail.mydomain.com)]
  • Security Type: SSL
  • Port: 465
  • Tick 'Require Sign In'
  • Username: [the email address you currently wish to set up]
  • Password: [the password for the corresponding email address]

Hit Next: The Account Options are up to your own preference most people just leave them as they are. On the next page titled 'Set Up Email' you can choose the account name (how it will be titled on your phone) and your name (which is shown as the contact name when you send out emails).

*IMAP will sync your email across platforms (ie, if you delete email on your phone it will also be deleted on your computer) as it is stored on the server, whereas with POP email all email is handled separately across platforms and is stored locally and deleted from the server once received by the user.
